Reviews

Nancy was great .. John hard to keep attention to

I enjoyed Nancy Clark's sections: She was easy to follow, pleasant to listen to, gave very applicable research and advice; quizzes were well balanced. However, Dr. Ivy was not easy to listen to (monotone) and quizzes didn't always focus on the most relevant/applicable facts. Also, the quiz for module 5 was totally unrelated to the subject matter of module 5. The quiz for module 8 was also unrelated to the subject matter of module 8. I believe the quiz for module 6 really corresponded to module 5 (?) I especially benefitted from the modules that discussed hydration and disordered eating.

The first two modules were extremely technical and heavy for someone without formal education in exercise science. I really enjoyed the next 5 modules though.

Very monotone accent, hard to concentrate

The way the information was presented was not engaging and soo many cases studies to actually attempt to glean information. The quality of the video and sound was poor to say the least. Nancy was personable and enjoyable to listen to and shared personal stories. John was dry and numbing to endure.
